My journey as a mother of 2 twice-exceptional kids (both have gifted level IQ + learning disabilities) greatly informs my artistic exploration
I also seek to use my skills as a painter to inform and educate about humanitarian efforts that are addressing the problem of Human Trafficking, such as the international organization Remember Nhu and the local St. Louis efforts at The Covering House

My Story
Working out the struggles of life as I struggle through the elements of Painting. I am not a stranger to struggle, but I do not believe that dwelling in the dark places of life will bring light into the world. My story includes struggles with mental health, learning disablilites, and challenges in parenting unique learning children, while attempting to care for those easily overlooked in the world that I encounter.
I have an M.F.A. in painting from Fontbonne University in St. Louis, Missouri and I completes an undergrad art degree from Kent State University in Kent, Ohio.
