About

Working out the struggles of life as I struggle through the elements of Painting. I am not a stranger to struggle, but I do not believe in dwelling in the dark places of life, instead I strive to bring light into the world. My story includes struggles with mental health, learning disablilites, and challenges in parenting children with unique learning styles, all while attempting to care for, and tell others about those easily overlooked in the world.

I have an M.F.A. in painting from Fontbonne University in St. Louis, Missouri and an undergrad degree in Fine Arts from Kent State University in Kent, Ohio. Thank you for reading my story, I hope that you will take time to view my paintings, which are my humble efforts to be a small source of light in my corner of the world.

My spelling is Wobbly. It’s good spelling but it wobbles, and the letters get in the wrong places.

It is our choices, Harry, that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities.
